Spent 45mins at the lunch spot. Small meal worms. Got about a dozen bluegill. Water was off colored. Yellow jackets were a nuisance, they actually forced me out. Kept thinking I was gonna get stung. Meal worms were too small. Will go back to night crawlers next time. I kept a couple to see how they taste. I haven't had freshwater fish since I left Tennessee in the 70s. This freshwater thing is starting to become a habit.

We should head out to the imperial valley and fish for some flathead catfish with those bluegills.
I think Andre want you to keep those Bluegill for bait...Mike. That's a long drive to the IV for you L.A. guys. :o
