: Working the tide

Not a fan of these morning tides, with a 6.2' I could only think of one beach I could fish. The beach is maybe 150 yards long total, but I had a plan. Started at greylight slowly fishing north with the drop shot for two hours, it was too deep for the LC. When I turned around the tide was at 3' and falling, so I fished the LC on the way back. Caught two on the LC and two on the drop shot. Also missed three, so I went 4 for 7.......of course they were released

Good job Verne. Kinda crazy how our local water temps are just slightly above the flattie zone still. Keep on truckin brotha!

Nice work, I'm gonna have to try an afternoon session or two this week with your success in mind.
