: Tuesday Night Soak - Back on Schedule! (2/8)

Conditions were a little goofy, but we packed the trucks and headed up.

Stellar air conditions and it was supposed to be warmer than last Thursday, so that's a plus.  Bumped into the Mayor himself after not seeing him for a few years.  Boz was filling me in on the many great surf fishing trips he had this past year with tons of spotfin, and as usual, his corbina escapades.  After saying adieu, we parted ways and our time for the reef was here.... so get out of the water everyone!

6" tide and 3-5 foot sets.  Water was definitely in the 50's, but good news is there was little to no salad in the water.  No tide to speak of, but were still hoping for the best.

3 to 4 hours of soaking only produced pinched corners on the bait and some ripped up gills on the heads, but nothing to speak of....

Pretty much a bummer, but we're just putting our time in so when they do show up, we'll get first crack at them.
Sorry for the "Lack" of fish report, but conditions reports are always welcome since there's no app telling when the beaches look good to fish or not.

Until next tide....
