Threw the c-rig from 0700-0900 with Jared. Took 10 steps out of my house in shorts before making a B-line for jeans, wool socks, and waders.
Water looked good last week, lots of holes and milky color water. This time the water wasn't milky but still good sand structure.

Onshore breeze was supposed to be up today but really didn't notice it. Would have taken the Mosquito out if I knew how nice it'd be.
Didn't get a bite for an hour or so, then got one to go. First barred surfperch of the year, and a genuine OC toad at 10".

Farmed two more. Hook set was tricky today.
Boating tomorrow, surf fishing again Saturday.

There's not a whole lot going on, and when it is there, the conditions suck or I just can't get out. Oh well, Just hoping things turn up here soon.

The weather has been so patchy that I'm just trying to hit it hard when I do get the chance. It'll be really nice til another storm comes Wednesday so I'm probably gonna fish every day until then.
