First off, let me say that I'm really sick and tired of bat ray fishing. The whole idea of doing it was it was an easy way to catch something that really liked pulling back and were quite common. Now, they seem harder to catch than a WSB!
Okay, back to the Team Building. Since the last one only turned out one smelt during fishing, we expected it to be much better this time. My mistake for thinking that, but it's quite the collection of characters and everyone had something to bring. Ashish brought a lot of really good whiskey, Patrick brought the superbowl spread of snacks, and Homa brought his skewers for his Afghanistan Kabobs.

He cooked up some incredible Beef, Lamb, and Chicken Kabobs for 4 hours of non-stop eating. The only kabobs I refused to eat were kidney kabobs, which looked pretty disgusting. lol

You ripped off a piece of Afghani flatbread and grabbed some protein... It was actually fantastic food!

We missed a number of bites, albeit small clicker runs before I heard a screamer. Unfortunately, it was the other chicken of the seas. Ashish wanted nothing to do with the flying rat, but was more nervous when he watched it bite the sh!t out of me.

In any case, everyone had fun (especially my expense since we caught nothing but a buzz and full bellies) and it was 9:00 before you knew it. It was fun, but I'm pretty much done with bats now, or maybe just this spot that once was good.
