What a perfect morning for fishing.

It has been a while since I've fished MB, and even longer since I've caught quality, and quantity.
On the water shortly after 5am.

The first spottie I caught was the largest today. It absolutely destroyed my swimmie the first crank after it settled on the bottom. Good fighting fish. The rest of the fish grew smaller, until this almost legal player showed up to gobble up my spinner.

10 Fish in total.
Had a bail malfunction on my spinner setup, lost a $10 lure. :-[
So I watched my donation to the fish gods sink to the bottom, pointed the kayak back to the truck and left.

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

Pretty good day there.
Not a bad day at all. That front part of the bay has been getting hit hard by fishermen all summer long.
Hell, that $10 offering you gave to Neptune should do the trick for the next outing though. 8)
Thanks all.
It's days like this that make everything we put into our sport worth while. 8)
Very nice.
