Rock Crawl (1/18)

This Dry January crap is killing me, but I have all of the plans to stay with it.  I ran down to the bay to fish, practice flying the drone, and some metal detecting.  I got all three done and back by noon.



Otherwise, all I caught is a Pee-Pee Bass on the swimmy.



I tried soaking a squid strip while I was flying the drone and of course it happened. I get doubled over on a hit, but I had the drone controls in my hands flying it, so I missed it.  I would have thought it would have swallowed it, but nope. 



Then the urban campers woke up from their vehicles in the parking lot and I took off to do some metal detecting.

Got over to see DFG watching someone...



Man, they busted these guys.  Cast Net... Fishing right next to a sign that says "No Fishing"...  I think I heard them say they didn't have a license, but it was muffled from the big fire truck that just started its engine. He walked them to the car with the net in hand...



Their stuff was still on the beach for the next 30 minutes but no kids.... Hmmm...



Oh well, I got my 10cents and packed it in for home.  I want a glass of wine so bad, but I have 13 days left...

Anyone else get out?

Saw a little action at least.

I spent about 90 minutes on the sand this morning, short bit every 10 minutes but walked away with a skunk.
