OTW in NC and in the weeds

Got a sargo and mounds of kelp. Hopefully I will not run out of beach by high tide.

2 runs missed, baits stolen, sargo snagged through the eye, and barely legal sand bass.

Had to use my bait knife a a kelp machete on a massive ball.

At least I caught 2 things I never caught before.

No grunion spotted.

Tide and weeds ran us off too.

Tide didn't run me off but was close. I had about 6' that wouldn't get wash on it. There was a rock pile I could have retreated to if I ran out of beach.

The wash was probably 50 feet between surges.
