Wow, conditions were great last night, but many of the big grinners were not cooperating.

I caught two "Zero" fish.  I have no idea how a 10/0 hook with a big mackerel head could legally mouth hook round rays.  Just perplexing...

Steve strikes first with the first real bite of the night.  Decent bat.

Then he strikes again with a nice Leopard!

I finally get a positive fish with this really brown Bat Ray!

Steve takes off and I decided to fish some more until an urban camper or possibly meth head came down to the beach watching me.  I had to crouch down so I could actually see him against the lighter sky back drop as he was sitting and moving in a circular motion with his body over and over and over.  I felt like this was time to pack up and go.

Oh well, but at least it was very fishable out there.  Little to no weeds or grass and small surf.  Just what the doctor ordered.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

That leopard shark has me drooling!  Looks like a nice night despite the big sharks still not cooperating.

I hate when people creep up on me! Machetes help in this department when solo. Bats are nice to get the skunk off. Can't wait to fish tonight!

I wouldn't dout it being a meth freak.

Pepper spray doesn't take up much space  ;)

Love the brown ray 8)

Nighttime beaches get spooky very quickly. Nice Bats and Leo. Grow eyes in the back of your head and practice the buddy system.
