LONGCAST JOE

Got out last night just after sundown for a couple of hours. Started out with a -1. Lots of small annoying nibbles...then another -1. Swell started to come up quick. Watched it go from what seemed like a 1-2' to 3'-4' within a couple of hours...Looks like the weekend into early next week is going to be tough as far as the swell goes.
Decided to call it a night after this double  :(....how would you score this one?  :-\

Latimeria

Glad you got out Joe.  Bummer on the no shark evening, but you are definitely putting your time in!

As for the double... That catch cancelled each other out to make it a zero... but better than another -1.  lol

You can't catch them from your computer chair.

You have two hooks on that setup?

Bummer, sorry you didn't get onto something toothier.
I say it's a wash, but barely.  If the thornback was longer than the shovelnose then I'd say it's still a -1  ;D

Yes, 2 hooks...It came about out of lazyness I suppose a couple of weeks ago and I've been using it ever since. Maybe I'll put the details up in a rig post, but it's a cross between a standard 3 way rig and a pulley rig. It came about as I had just broken off a pulley rig but still had the pulley portion of the rig attached on the end of my main line but only had 3 way rigs pre-tied up so...I wanted a way to use the three way rig that incorporated the pulley already tied onto the end of my main and.... whallah, a rig is born...

2 could actually be easier than one as they might just pull against each other and tire themselves out that much quicker.  8)
