Conditions were sweet for a low tide. No salad stranded on the beach which is always a beautiful thing to see.

Found a surfer free area to dip a line waiting for them to clear out.
Of note is the huge amount of sand that has come in since last time I was out. The whole slope of the beach has changed and the water is much shallower.

Anyhow nothing but bait thieves on the long rod. However when I'd go to retrieve it it felt like it was buried in sand.  ???

So no love on the long rod but the critter rod was going off! Couldn't leave it for more than a few minuites before something was hitting on it. Did lose a lot of bait on it also until about 10:30 when the weeds started to be annoying. Not unfishable but annoying on the small line Long rod was not afffected.

Got father and son sized Leos and Tractors. Biggest Leo was 42" and the tractor 40". Did not measure the smaller ones.

So a drop shotted 4 oz 5/0 hook with squid smoked the long rod. Pretty good night in the suds.
