Hit the fish off AO with Paul tonight to see what was lurking around. Had a kick as fire going but only a few bouncing rods.

Missed two good zips, then I land a shovel on the third. Paul finally acquires said target species. Bat Ray!

It was actually too small for a photo op. But 10" max is my guess. Looks like the girls dropped early this year (uh oh).

Fire was nice and avoided skunk. Cool moonrise as well.

Little worried about the 7-peat ...

We have more rain forecast for next weekend. Getting scary >:(
Anybody have an emergency beer?

An aquarium size model huh? Keep it for shark bait?  ;)

Ugh ... didn't even think of that ...

That's not good. They should start dropping mid march until June. Hopefully it's just starting otherwise I think we'd have seen a lot more bats in January. Time will tell.
Keep it tight

Tell you what, a nice fire and a 10" bat beats the hell out of our evening....................not a bump and froze our butts off  :(

That's the best bat news we've heard down here in months!  lol

We'll find them... and bring home our 7th consecutive title.   ;D
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Nice acquisition.  A 10" bat ray is 10" bigger than any I've caught.   :)
