Going to get bait from the barge in Oceanside and then look for a clear surf spot. If you plan on fishing Tuesday and want to roll message me your number.

Not 100% sure yet being V-Day, but hoping to at least make an effort.  If so, I might try the Casino.  No commitment on my part yet.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Barge was closed when we went by (to late) checked the casino and it's so rocky in the first gut the perch set ups get caught up every cast. Checking the kitchen.

At least the kitchen has sand crabs. No perch or croaker yet, soaking squid for bats and whatever else. Had one small hit that took 2 feet of line and kept nibbling.

Double squid was doing well from 7pm-9pm. 1 small run, 1 hook up and a pull (bait came back after a 50yrds drag burning run), lost a small soupfin when it did a head stand in the suds and found a bat. Lots of little critters picking it apart though. Baits only lasted 15 mins max. Soaked croaker from about 9:30 to after midnight along with squid for no bites but the current was ripping with the high tide and the sputniks were having a hard time grabbing.

Didn't catch any but we drug a few pieces out that were about 150lbs. Light grass.
