You've never been fishing? What do you mean you've never been fishing? What kind of God Father am I? C'mon little man, we're going to take care of that gross oversight in your upbringing right now!

Wanted to corn bait some carp at William R Mason park in Irvine, but they cleaned out everything from the lakes because of a fungal infection and haven't restocked. So with time limited, it was down to the river. Didn't get any bites, but at least we got his first time out of the way 8)

Anybody have an emergency beer?

Good for you Chip.  I would only do one thing different however... hire a professional to show him how to really fish so he doesn't go droning baits out in the middle of the lake.   ;D
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
