Thanks guys!  The neighborhood upgrade is in the works.  Hopefully in the next 6 months.

Super late to this but glad you're staying Chad! Another thing to have considered is that Phoenix has the most kidnappings of any city in the USA! Even if in a safer neighborhood it doesn't mean that you might not get hemmed up somewhere outside your neighborhood and experiencing a true nightmare even if statistically high it's realistically low. That said I'm looking to save up money within the next year in a half to move up to Oregon, as a young guy it's hard to develop a strong foothold here in So Cal without just barely managing to get by. Plus maybe I could find a sweet 7 spot along the Oregon coast! You wouldn't get that in AZ :D!
