Will post up pics when I get the chance today, but I did recently purchase a Penn Carnage II 12' surf rod and a Truth Reels SM Surf reel. Will write a review once I give them a thorough once over in the surf.

Looking forward to hearing the feedback for the Truth reel.

Have heard about them, they sure look b!tchen.

I'm waiting for black Friday for my next purchase.

I heard the "Truth" was that it got spooled last night?  On a fish and not fresh line.   ;D :o ;D

Spooled with a vengeance!! It was awesome too! Taxman? Giant 7? Huge BSB? Haven't caught either, so nothing to compare it to. Felt like a 300lb soupfin.
