Well, my computer is dying and I only get about 10 minutes in before it crashes.  I brought it in to my work for my IT buddies to diagnose the problem... and it wasn't looking good.  I could have fixed it, but would have had to throw precious coin into an old computer which seemed like a waste especially now that I have the websites to run.

Here we go, need to complete the post in under 10 minutes!  :o

Tuesday was forecasted to DUMP a lot of rain on MB as well as the rest of the county.  I had some rain gear to test and Steve had a bad day at work so he needed to unwind, so the trip was still on!

I got there to DUMPING conditions, but the rain gear held firm.  Definite success!

Rain stops and Steve rolls up with a bed full of water logged wood to try and burn.  Let me say that Steve is a fire bug... he got that bonfire lit with no fuels and sopping wet/soaked wood!

The weather cleared up just nicely!

Steve got triple rainbowed!  A two sided main bow and a secondary bow just off to the right (out of this pic).

The moment it got dark, Steve's reel was screaming... only most of them dropped the bait right when he was engaging the reel!   ;D

I struck first with a tail-less legitimate healthy bat!

Steve volleyed with a big horn shark.

We both kept getting bit, but each time would be by the fire and wouldn't be able to get down to the rod in time.  Too cold to stand by the rod last night.

I hooked a nice sh!t shark that bled like a pig.  He was totally fine and all of his gills were intact, so the hook must have found an artery.

Just as I was unhooking him, Steve's rod went off!
Steve earned his beast after all of his dropped baits.

I stuck by my rod and caught a bait stealer in action... a legal spottie!

Squid and green macks worked the best tonight.  Josh Baits (Spaniards) could barely get tapped.   ::) ;D

We set the timer and left them biting.  Could have had double digit fishing if the fuggers would have all stuck, but it was a great night and we only got rained on to start the trip.

10 minutes up and gotta go.  Always love a good fishing session when you are not preparing for much action.

-Tight Lines!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Nice going guys!

Hope you get the computer up and running....or upgrade to a newer one.

Now that school is over I'll be doing a lot more fishing and will be able to post a little bit more too...might go after some bats this week. Or maybe trout. Or spotties. Or bass. Or all of the above....

I drove down to the bay in a downpour, thinking it was going to be a miserable night. Ended up being just what I needed.
Getting the fire going was a little rough, but it was a fun project.

Shoot a text, Dave, got some time too. Little family stuff to do, but if it works, it works. Love to hook one on the long rod and watch your kids fight it.
