I was instructed to go to TP for a shovelnose, so I went to TP and caught a shovelnose.  The end. (species #463)

Congrats Ben!  Those things are +1 for sure and get quite big.

No leopard sharks?  Were you using that spinning gear you had with you the last time at the Soup Kitchen?

Nope, that was the only fish for the evening.  Three other guys fishing near me, only saw one small bat ray caught between them.

I was using light tackle so I had a chance at a corbina.  6 lb line with a 10 lb leader.
