Hit some Low tide rocky spots this morning looking for halibut or Calico action but came up empty. I did run across an Adult seal that looks to have survived a recent attack by a great white.  You could see the turn up flesh as he was sitting out on a far rock. I even found a pool of fresh blood on a large rock where he must have been resting before the tide dropped and he relocated. The picture isn't the best but I had to zoom with the cell phone and then still crop the image.

Its tough to tell from the Pic, but the wound was circular and approx. 2-2.5 feet across.  I couldn't get a good look at his far side to see if he had another would there as well.

Pretty gruesome over all.  There was a gull that kept sneaking up and picking at the wound as well.
