Full Moon... I Mean New Moon Fishing Lake Jennings (2/17)

We did another night trip on Lake Jennings.  First of all, that lake is dark as hell when the moon is not out!  wow!

We hit 5 or 6 spots looking for cats after our trout fishing fizzled earlier in the day.



Saw a boat out in deep water slowly picking at the cats, but it was hard to see anything out there.  I was amazed at the amount of frogs out there also along with plenty of bass hitting the surface.
I tried trout lures, bluegill lures and even topwater for nothing.

We basically got yelled at to get the hell off the lake last night by the Rangers, but I managed a big kitty!  I had like 5 bites and they could have been from the same fish for all I know.  Oh well, but at least I avoided the skunk!



That and it was a cold one!  I almost felt like I was back on the east coast!  lol

Ran the heater all the way home. Still cold when I got there.

Wish I avoided the skunk.

Solid looking kitty! Hate cold nights. Dealing with a cold that really resembles the flu, sh!tty feeling and my back hurts to boot with all the sleeping I've been doing.
