Hit the sand with Binh hoping to find some straggling soups feeding on the grunnies. With it officially being summer, we weren't expecting much. We managed to beat the skunk, me with a leo and Binh with a shovel. Nothing too exciting, but it was nice to hook something that pulled some drag.
Water was pretty warm. Kelp was an issue early on, but really cleaned up as the tide rose. Lots of people and little parking. Mack was the bait of choice.

Glad you guys got out.  Squatch and I didn't go last night.  I looked at the beach cams at work and almost had a stroke with all the people on the beach!

Nicely done with the summer-time surf residents!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

sasquatch

uh huh.... like keychains...  lol

You went last night?  I got all of my fishing gear ready for the cabins and stoked to try some serious bass fishing while I'm there as well as seeing if any carp are still around or if they killed them all off.

We both managed to beat the skunk, me with a leo and Binh with a shovel. Nothing too exciting, but it was nice to get a some drag pulled and leave the beach landing something.
