Red tide has been terrible.  I heard the ramps were to me monitored closely and knew that South Shores and Shelter Island were going to be crowded as hell, so I launched from the south land instead.

Terns were diving everywhere and anchovies were flipping all over everytime a fish flopped on them.

Wide open on smaller grade fish, but so much fun after a 6 week hiatus.  Matched the hatch ( or at least size for a fish a cast action the next few hours.

Everything from snot sticks to bass to needlefish to butts at first...

Gross sea lice were everywhere.  Not sure how they got onto so mant bay bass.

I plucked them all off because I hate those critters.

Butts.

Clicker kept counting up...

Finally got something exotic.

Ended a 6 hr catching marathon with 140 fish!

I'll update later since dinner has just finished up and is ready to be served!

You can't catch them from your computer chair.
