I needed out of the house and my wife needed me out so she could clean the house.  I woke up this morning and texted Squatch on if he was fishing or not.  He said he was hitting the bay, so I met him down there.  As I was walking over to where Steve was fishing, I noticed a few people in the Alpha spot and tried to spy who they were, but couldn't put a positive ID except for one kid who looked like Nicky.

I walked up to Squatch and he said he saw them also, but gave them room so he could catch some bass.  Just as he said that, he caught another!  I happened to bring my rod down also and planned on casting with my good arm and reeling with my arm in the sling like I did 14 years ago when I first met Steve, Phong and the rest of the EDC crew from SCSF.

Casting was tough, but I was trying to get the hang of the action of the lure since everything is all stiff and painful along my entire arm on every cast.

I then hear, "There they are" and looked up to see Phong and Nicky!!!!  It was them! (Except Phong had long flowing hair like Fabio or something) lol.   
It was almost like a 14 year old reunion when the last time I went down in a sling to fish!



They all caught some fish, but I needed at least one to replicate the first shoulder surgery and voila!





That was it.  My shoulder tapped out and I just caught up with the gang.  It felt so great to be doing something normal instead of lying on a recliner most of the day.

Great seeing everyone!

(I'm home icing the hell out of my shoulder now....)  ;D
