Got a beach house next week with my lady for a couple nights in El Sauzal. Fishing isn't the priority for the trip but I should be able to get a couple hours fishing the shore. Rocky area out front the beach house so I may only have a shot throwing swimbaits right there. Any experience surf fishing down there? I also remember seeing a report somewhere else long ago about somebody catching puffers and some other weird stuff in the Ensenada marina, but since I can't find that report I'm not sure if I was imagining or misread the location, cuz it shouldn't be too different from SD in terms of species?

Other info like food/decent tourist stops would be appreciated. Heard Trailero is where it's at for tacos, and some other stand a couple blocks up has great seafood tacos.

Yes, I'll load up on shakedown cash asap.

I've only fished down in Ejido ErĂ©ndira before, but never stopped in El Sauzal.  Probably the same fish though.  It's basically very Southern California fish, with a few more exotics in the mix.

Have fun boss!  That sounds like a great little get-a-way with your girl.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
