Cold Trip

I got back from work with a terrible cold.  I didn't want to spread it throughout the house so made a quick trip to the lakes to try and get some fresh air...

They stocked trout this past weekend...   ;D

Nothing for 3 hours then with 5 minutes left before they kicked everyone out, they came rolling through!  I cast my rooster tail out while my other two rods soaked.  Hook up!

The trout rats descended, and one crossed my line which inevitably lost my trout.  I turned around to see both of my set rods bent over!

I grabbed the closest rod and after a single jump, it got off.

I grabbed the last rod and it was there and then it wasn't.... Triple d!cking and I lost all three at the buzzer.

The truck rolled by and said "Everyone Out" as I made one last cast with the rooster tail and got the skunk off...  Lame, I know... but I wasn't skunked.  lol

I may go back in the rain today after work, but I'm not sure that will help my cold out.  I'm tired of all these bugs going around as the older I get, the worse they all make me feel.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
