Morning Hikes at Break

I have to take a morning break and go for a walk every day so I don't lose my mind.  This time I decided to hit a game trail that I never went on because of the high rattlesnake population in this area.  Thankfully it was cold as sh!t and with all the frost, i wasn't worried about stepping on one.





I saw some rocks at the top of a mesa and decided to check them out...  I'll be doing this hike way more often now!  I think it's all Pleistocene material, but could go as far back as Pliocene.



Anyway, that definitely made me forget about work even when I was at work!

I forgot, but some of these plants were kicking out some great blooms also!

Finding fossils on a work break is awesome! 
I'd be out there when it's warmer chasing those rattlesnakes, haha!

If you had any balls they would have shrunk up into your neck due to the cold!!!
