I've known about a few isolated populations for a while now, but who knows how many more are out there to be discovered.  That is my holy grail to catch a coelocanth.  I know they are protected, but if I accidentally catch one in an area they are not known for, it would be scientific discovery and not poaching.  LOL

You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Ya it would be crazy to catch one.
But I can't imagine that they'd fight very well, you know, being so old and all LOL!
