Max and Myles were on Spring Break all last week so it was a good time to get Bad Pig and The Rig away for 4 days. Tuesday was hook up and pack day. Mongo knew what was up too.

Got to our spot and set up Shop, they wasted no time heading for the lake !

I took off on my bike to find them, I knew they were close

Yep, here they are

They were on the fish and I was glad, I used a rod for a bit and caught a few, then went to check out the other Boat Ramp and other areas too. The mountains we capped with snow still.

Janie came Thursday morning and joined the adventure, The Hearse and Bad Pig need a bath !

More fishing proved to be very productive, they couldn't miss, bass and trout were on the Chew !!

The average was about 40 fish a day and an appetite was worked up after fishing for a few hours so Chicken Kabobs on the BBQ the first night, then Tri-Tip and Ribs went on the Smoker.

Breakfast Burritos in the morning to fuel all the fishing.

The weather was 86 degrees the first 2 days then cooled off and got cloudy but still relaxing. Janie was enjoying the peace and quiet.

In between fishing there was a few things that needed to be done, like cleaning the windows, oh boy !

It was nice to see the water level was up and it was great to check out all the different beaches.

It was non stop catching and we did save a few, Max gutted and cleaned them at the lake.

The bass were feisty and even found a Bluegill in the mix. These trout were jumpers too

Saturday was only in the 60's, layer up and keep fishing !!

After 150+ fish and clouds getting darker, we called it for the weekend. Got back to the rig just as it started to rain. Watched some TV and Sunday morning we packed up and came home. Hookup Baits  (1/16 Oz.) were the hot ticket this trip, they got destroyed and only lasted about 5 fish before having to switch baits.

Hope this is the end of the rain, The Cyclops needs some action now !!

Awesome time with the family! Great food and smiles, and huge numbers on the fish! What lake was this, Isabella?
