Well, the last few years we spent my Birthday up in The Sierras so why not do it again ? Washed The Hearse and packed her up on Sunday June 23rd (my Birthday) and headed for high ground. Got a 12V Fridge for this trip, not messing with ice anymore except for the small cooler, Much easier and lighter !

The High Desert was heating up, it was 102 when we were crossing thru, glad we left early and good thing for A/C

Arrived to overcast conditions but still pretty warm at the Hotel, got unpacked and settled in, still had time to go fishing !

Max wasted no time busting out The Fly Rod

The water was very cold and I learned my lesson from last trip so I wore some insulated boots while these two froze their feet !

Switching back to the Spinning Rod, Max got the first fish .

The next few days we just hit all  of our usual spots and scratched a few here and there, mostly Myles, he was the Hot Stick !!

We were in and out of The Hearse constantly, gotta keep moving and Looking.

The scenery is awesome and it never gets old !

Max found a cool net and Janie got in on the action too.

Had Lunch at Tom's Place and then headed up past Mammoth area to Lee Vining the next day. Dorado and Deer at 8000'

Walked around the town, not much there but very cool.

Aaron met up with us at The June Lake Loop, more Family Time !

Stopped by the house we normally stay at, my buddy was out of town so we took a few pics. He was glad we fed the fish in his creek, fun to watch !

Back to Bishop and Aaron had to leave to go up North to visit a friend, but first had to hit Schat's Bakery

Hugs and off he went.

Our last day, they wanted to try Pleasant Valley Reservoir.

This guy was fly fishing, crazy !! Water was faster than it looks, and very loud too !

Off to Lake Sabrina, only to do the Walk of Shame  Ha Ha

Had to visit the local Vons and check out the fishing Dept.

I follow a guy on Youtube that makes Jerky, found some at the Gas Station

Up early Saturday morning to head home, all was quiet till we stopped at Bass Pro Shops.

Made it home safely, my garden exploded and Mongo was happy to see us !

We only got about 20 fish or so but it didn't matter cause we were up there enjoying Mother Nature at it's finest !!

Thanks for coming along , time to cook a 300 Lb. pig soon and then get The Cyclops wet !
