My older brother, his wife and 3 kids will be staying at this RV Campground : 1537 South Coast Highway, Oceanside CA 92054  this month.

He wants to put his 3 kids on some fish in the day and get on the heavy duty toothy  stuff himself at night. Hes fished his whole life as well but only freshwater.

He invited me  so I will be going as well. Ill be staying longer than him.

Any help from light stuff to heavy is appreciated. Wanna throw some bait with you guys as well............

Not a bad area for daytime perching with the kids. Been slow last few times I went, but not very recently.

Finding anything toothy or big has been a challenge for a little while now. I don't know if it's the weather or what.

Well, you have a number of SD guys who have the toothy kind dialed in. Even the recent transplant has struck grinner gold as of late, so, you shouldn't not catch one for a lack of intel or not getting pointed in the right direction.
