I went inexpensive and planned on installing a new helm that I bought a few months ago and is desperately needed.  Since I busted my shoulder, that won't work so I brought the boat into the shop.

Well, the helm won't fit unless I pay to have a new mount custom made... so I had to buy one that would fit.  Thankfully, I bought the other helm so long ago, that I can't return it.  Oh joys!

Ouch  :(  Seems like it's always something ! It used to be a hundred bucks when things go wrong, now it's a thousand  :o

A good Leaning Post/ seat will make things easier too but I'm sure they ain't cheap either ::)

Good luck, hope you get back on the water soon !

There is always a spot on The Cyclops ;)

OMG ... I'm going to lose my mind. Said everything stopped and worked great when I was paying and I got out of there to try and miss as much traffic as I could.

Got home excited to turn the wheel and feel it lock in place.

...

...still waiting

... didn't feel any difference.

Couldn't find any leaks on the line or steering at the motor. Called up before they left for the weekend and they said it was working before I left.

Now I have to take it back on Monday.

I'd say just my luck because it's just my luck.

Just venting.
