I really didn't have a stellar fishing year, but I did come away with a few memorable moments.

Incredible Trout Year!

Great Catfish year also.

Saltwater fishing was pretty slow, but I did manage a few nice ones.  The Rockfishing was pretty exceptional.

More Blue Sharks than I ever seen on this floating balloon.

Pelagics were pretty slow, but there were some decent ones in the mix.

My first Marlin...s....

Now that I put these pictures up... Maybe it wasn't that bad of a year.

Cheers guys and here's to a prosperous 2025!

My goals were PB bass, legal halibut, local WSB, PB sheep, and 365 fish. I got 2 of those.

New PB turd roller was nice, no weight but 23.5" so 6-7lbs.

Oh yeah...first island yellowtail/PB yellowtail. That fed me well for August.

PB halibut, not saying much but it was right on the line of legal.

Pretty epic croaker bite in late May, tying my 18 year PB croaker twice in a week (17.5").

Two of these early on was whack in the inflatable...

Was aiming for 365 fish or more for the year but landed somewhere in the mid 200s, since the late season surf fishing really shut down hard. I fell off my fishing log somewhere in November as my skunks started piling up. I fished about 70 times.

Two new species in Needlefish and Green Sunfish.

And ~26 species total.
