Last year I caught some huge trout with big Senko's in the belly.  I figured since these trout were in the 5-10 pound range that they just took a bass guys bait.  I later saw chunks in a bunch I caught also, but just figured they were bit off from a bass angler at some point.

Recently I was perplexed when I was filleting fish and found pebbles in them.  Like nothing you would find in the lakes I was fishing, but some foreign rocks.  I posted it a few months ago.

Now, I just cleaned the last trout and I'm baffled! 3 of the last 6 trout I cleaned had a bunch of plastics in them!  Rubber worms, creature baits, jerk baits, and Senkos....  I think I'll be doing some investigating on this or at least reach out to the hatcheries to figure out what is going on.

I have to figure out how to post videos because I opened up one on video and It's perplexing!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Wow, that's a whole BPS in those things, wtf? Hard to tell what's more bizarre, the variety of the lures or the size.

Fish Jerk

Taking a shot in the dark here, but I'm thinking that the bottom of those lakes are probably littered with tons of plastics that were discarded by throwing them into the lake. I'm thinking hatchery trout, being fed by pellet, get conditioned to eat random stuff that they consider might be food. I could see pieces of colorful soft plastic getting picked up off the bottom and being consumed.

I would agree with the theory that the trout are cleaning up the bottom of the lake.
On another note with that much plastic in their stomach they must be hungry all the time with very little digestible food in there stomach.
