FB kept popping up with memories of Squatch and I with some winter triggers so I figured I give them and bass a shot.  Weather was supposed to be perfect, but I didn't like the wind switching to the NW.

The fog was no joke over LJ, but sunny south of that.

I tried a few rocks for nothing and then found a few that were holding.  I can't believe I couldn't locate a single bass!  Not a single trigger bite either, but I spent the next few hours hooking up on Brownies and Rattlers.  Both were big too.

I kind of stopped counting after 2 dozen but definitely caught a bunch more.

I was really happy to see the brown rockfishes return.  I don't recall seeing so many the last few years.

The wind then kicked up and I ran to the Whitefish spot, but the wind was blowing A LOT harder than what they were calling for so I just called it.  I actually should have called it an hour ago, but I wanted something besides Sculpin and Brown Rockfish.  LOL

Jellies are starting to invade the back bay now.

Well, that was my birthday trip.  Nothing monstrous but it was great by the numbers!

Thanks for reading!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Happy birthday!

Some really nice sculpin mixed in there. Cool bite to catch a ton of browns like that.
