After 4 months of terrible pain, this is what the doctor's conclusion was for my right shoulder pain.

  • Bulging Disc and Spinal Stenosis of the C6.(MRI)
  • Lateral epicondylitis (Tennis Elbow)
  • Carpal Tunnel (MGI)

Went to PT for 2 months...

Finally I asked if we could actually look at the shoulder since that's what is in pain, so she scheduled an MRI....

What do you know, I have a torn rotator cuff.... I could have gotten 4 friggin months back, but I can only roll with it now.  Her message to me was "You definitely need surgery"...

So I went fishing and getting wood.  Not very smart, I know.  lol

That's rough. Back to weight lifting tuna cans. Hope the road isn't too bumpy and painful.

This will be my third rotator cuff surgery and I only have 2 shoulders....ugh.

Time to slow your roll.....again :(

Shoulders are a rough recovery as you know, this getting old stuff is overrated  ;)

Mike, the surgeries helped tremendously when fully healed. I did so much working out that I felt that I was in great shape.  It took a tweak of the shoulder while working on boat followed by pulling hoops.

Just the recovery sucks ass.

Still babying my shoulder. The impingement is reacting nicely with the 2nd cortisone shot. My doc says  PRP and/or  arthroscopic debridement is the next option once the cortisone wears off and the effects of it are short lived. He says whatever happened to my right shoulder could easily to my left. PHUCK! Coupled with my plantar fasciitis and looming kidney stones... getting old absolutely sucks. Prehistoric Soul... nah... prehistoric pains.

I had both rebuilt. Had the doctor for the US Ski Team do the work. Solid job, no issues over the last 15 years.
