It was finally my turn to play sand hand and let Binh reel something in.



Squish was the vait of choice for the SNGF. Mack served up a doughnut hole. Waves were moderate. Kelp and eel grass was effing outrageous!!

Lots went wrong for me:

Parking sucked
Left my fishing license at home
Reeled in the biggest clump of eel grass and kelp so far this year... twice!!
Back-lashed hardcore on the braid twice.
Dropped my reel on the sand.
Skunked.

Time on the sand...

I've started "tipping" the cut fish with a squish head.

If Poseidon would mow the bleeding lawn maybe I'll see how it works.

The last wad I got caught in was so big I couldn't drag it out of the wash.

At least Binh got one out of the night but sounds like Mike had a far worse night than me. Dropping your reel in the sand is a trip killer.

I did want a rake at one point to rip those damn grassballs apart
