My boat had serious issues still after rebuilding the carbs and I needed to let off steam.  I heard of confirmed Hammerheads in the surf, but was not sure I wanted to make a 70 mile round trip.  I didn't get a hammerhead, but it was worth all of the gas I burned!  I'll post up tomorrow from work as I am whooped and need some sleep.

Where? I have off a few select days and will drive to hammerhead land. Deets man deets!

Got nothing tonight on the long rod in the sand.

La Jolla Cove to Scripps Pier is said to be on a 24hr closure right now due to a hammerhead sighting. Followed a kayaker into the surf zone it sounds, but I'm sure there's a lot of hear-say going around. Other report notable I read the other day mentioned a hammer pretty close to the wall @ Dana.

Question is when/how to target one? Fat chunk & cork on an outgoing tide in the middle of the day? I kinda can't believe nobody's got one yet.

Those damn things are showing up all over the coast now.  Steve and I tried last night to just find salad city.  That huge tide and big moon made a mess of things...
