Well, I took the family to the beach today as the family "Boat" trip didn't happen since my motor is not cooperating with me.

I brought a small rod with me to look for Spotfin and Corbina.  I also had my GoPro that I was shooting some underwater footage.  There was so much loose grass and kelp in the water that it made fishing impossible, so I stuck to looking for fish.  I am so bummed that the surf was so murky with the wash...  Most of the video is nothing more than a salad show.

I saw at least 12 Spotfin Croaker in the 3-5 pound range!  I swore I caught them on video, but after checking my footage, I realized how bad the visibility was and how weedy the water was.  I also saw  half dozen nice Corbina, but I was only a spectator today.  If I find them in the video, I'll take a snapshot and post it up.  In the meantime, If you are looking for some nice light line surf fishing, I know where they lurk.  Unfortunately the salad has to thin out a bit first.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Thanks for the TP update. Hopefully, the salad will cooperate soon.
