I have a busy week and knew that I wouldn't be able to get out on Tuesday, so I made a last minute run to the surf as conditions were perfect!

-Good incoming tide
-No salad
-Small surf
-Empty beach
-Great Baits
-Homage for Fish Gods

Let's just say the only thing missing was the grinners!  The bass were pests!  I could barely get my rod in the rod holder before getting bit (and most of the time get my bait stolen)

I managed 6 of these little guys, but missed about a dozen more that fell off the hook or missed on the hookset.

After a 2 hour session and 6 whole macks later, the bass bite died down... and then the Crawlers came out!  I knew they were lobster and finally started hooking them to confirm my suspicions.

The only bait that I actually reeled in.  Every other time the hook was totally clean!

Great moon... lot's of spray

Man, I know where I want to try when Bug season hits!

No grinners and I packed it up after 4 hours of soaking.  Oh well, it was worth a shot and just perfect conditions out there!  Someone has to find where they've been hiding!

I had high hopes for a Hammer last night, but that just means that I will have to try again.

You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Those bait stealer nights are annoying.  You'll get yours soon.

Happened to me too last Saturday.  Many times I didn't see any hits nor even rung the bell, when I check the bait it's gone. Stealth mode,

Bummer about the Hammerhead attempt. There has to be something out there in the warm water.

Bait stealers look tasty ;D  I sure miss diving for them :(
