Way to go bro! You said you were gonna make it happen, and you did...respect earned!
The Ironic thing is at just about exactly the same time you put this post up I was trying to find the # you pm'd me on my mobile so I could let you know I had just been owned! for the second time since sunset but that I was finally on the VC 7's, and you should get your ass & longrod over to the AO I was on ASAP to get a shot at one of em...As it turned out, now I gotta figure we were within a mile or 2 tops from each other at the time.
Unfortunately, after hook set & seeing each one breach out past the breakers shortly after hook set and 5 minutes of bendo,I couldn't muscle or turn either of mine from heading straight into a mine field of razor sharp mussel covered boulders that sliced through my coated wire leader.
Let me know if your thinking about hittin it again Sunday evening. I am, with 275# 49 strand and a stepped up main this round. I scored some fresh macks at the marina & got somes left over...
