A Spotty Ending (12/6)

Well, It's been a great weekend.  I planned on getting the boat out, but it never came to fruition.  Otherwise I got a bunch of household "To-Do's" done as well as accomplishing a bunch of family promises without a single hitch. Not a single curse word or a moment of frustration.  I was amazed, so I decided to meet some old friends at the bay to toss the plastic for a hour before shooting to the bar and watching the second half of the Jets game. 

I got down to meet Dave and Roger with birds slamming the water for bait!  Not many gamefish in the mix, but sooo much bait in the water.  There were a dozen pelicans slamming it as well as a few dozen gulls and rays.



I got on the board fairly quickly with a spotty.



Dave followed up with getting on the board also!



Roger got one and I was content to call it the day after a beer and some good catching up.



I was thinking that all I needed to do was watch the Jets win and my weekend was a wrap for a great weekend!  The Jets were down 10-20 by the time I got to the bar and had to deal with some razzing by the other patrons in the bar, but then the unbelievable happened and we came back to force OT and actually win it, albeit from a missed fieldgoal, but hey!  Life was good this weekend!

Good to see the original crew out and about. Just about over this cold. Hope to get back out soon.
