Been weed free for a long time, Tonight I couldn't get away from them. Got snagged on flipping driftwood that carried both my lines together. New bass rod is nice. Made a grievous error of having the shop load my reel. It backlashed like a beotch for half the night.

Once the lashing was under control in came the f*#$%&@ weeds. Kept them off Steve who landed a little leopard.

I got one small bass on the new rod and reel to intitiate them then nada.

It happens to all of us (or at least me).  Last night we hung wads of grass on every cast and I blew my reel up  >:(

I'll post up Steve's leppo later when I get home.  Super slow evening again, but that's shark fishing. Steve had the hot stick with a big run and crushed bait also. I had trouble even getting the bait stealers to bite.
Oh well, but glad to see Jim taking care of Steve's weed problem. Lol

I'm blaming the weather change. Kelp and eel grass are one thing, the tree branches were a first.

I think the grass all went to Jim's rod.  I only got a few strands here and there.  ;D

Took a week off again to handle stuff and hoping to get some quality fish time and the weather goes to crap. Just watched the forecast on 10 and crappy through Tuesday.
