Once again me and Tony hit the beach after he got out of school.  We arrived at 4:17 and I was hooked up by 4:25, in the next 4 hours we landed 4 bats apiece and broke off 3 we just couldn't turn.

My PB at 53 1/2"

Tony's PB at 52"

From about 5:30 to 6:30 or so the YFC's put on a show jumping and chasing bait not 30 or 40 yards out.  Both of us kept saying "wish we had our light rods".  Respect, Verne

One the way home Tony and I did the math.................Over 120 hours between us during late Feb and all of March without a single bat.  It was a long time coming   8)

I think we could of put in 1200 hours and still not have gotten one, Verne. I'm now more than convinced they just weren't here yet till late March. Came in to pup a bit late this season, that's all...
I'm sure Tom is more than aware of the climactic and geographical science behind it   ::) :-X

That's a welcomed "sore"! I'd love some of that action. It looks like you're finally hitting your stride.
