I've got quite a few now and they're mostly all a good size. They don't all fit in a tackle tray.

I wanna say I've seen tackle bags for them?

Remember collecting basket ball cards , how you would slide the cards into the clear plastic slots in the 3 ring binders?

Looking for something like that, that I could toss in my offshore back pack..

I have some lure holders for tuna feathers. Nylon with plastic compartments the feathers slide into. The whole thing rolls up and is held with a velcro strap. Suppose you could try those with irons.

i was at the shop today and didn't see anything like that....

 Hey Eric,
Think along the lines of a tube container system. It works out well because the hooks can hang on the end of the tube keeping them from bird nesting together with their selfs. You just need some sort of rubber end cap to hold them secure and cover the points and then you can thow the tubes in your pack.
I use these 3" x 6" clear ones and can fit 3 or 4 in a tube...

I keep them just like in your picture. I have a lot of them though. many of the same. some work better at certain times so ill usually throw in a couple of the same and leave the rest at home. for instance right now, Tady 4/0 and Salas 6X in chrom and crome/blue are killing it as well as 6x jr. and Sumo Jr. in white and scrambled egg. so I have 3 of each in the box plus some other assorted colors just in case. the rest of my 20 or so irons stay at home hanging on a hanger in the closet.
Keep it tight

Plano makes a tackle tray that perfectly fits surface irons. I gotta look the right model number.
