I shop at both but sad to see the 2 giants of outdoor gear merging.

Cabelas has some much better clothes and different varieties  of gear.

I've shopped both stores for many years.

I'm not upset, I tend to buy my tackle elsewhere...

I like competition as it keeps the prices low, but so many monopolies are going on that we have fewer places to turn to. 

I'm not a big fan of this buy out/merger.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Explains all the discounted gift cards and online rewards deals I've seen lately. Gotta fluff up sales LOL.

Cabelas has good outfitter gear, keep on the lookout for sales. I'm going to buy thier instinct outfitter tent. They have a lot of 4 season tents and if you can get them under $500 it'll be money well spent if you like to camp or travel to hunt and fish.
