Hit the surf with Binh. Peak high tide, uphill current increasing as the tide continued to swing, and little to no salad. The tide drained out pretty damn quick!

We both had mack as bait. Lots of critter bites!! My hooks came back bare or the bait was stripped clean.



I brought a bait rod to entertain myself while waiting for the big one. I managed a YFC and 2 round rays. Binh got a thick 50"+ leo and what looked like a sublegal leo.

That was all she wrote. Conditions not ideal, but manageable.

Great session guys, but what the hell Mike! I know Binh was my horse, but you need to get some grinners on the beach!  ;)

Seriously though, excellent session considering the start of things happening.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
