It's been quite a few years now, but it is still going.  Roger, Dave and I hit the big bay for a morning of fishing the light rods.

It was pretty wide open in the morning with the bonito and mackerel, although most of the mackerel " didn't get on the boat for some reason".

We moved to a dozen spots from North to south and all the time catching fish.

Roger before he lost his shirt.  ;D

We probably brought in 30+ bass this morning.  Not an epic number, but not bad.

D-Dave was on point!

Back Bay fun!  19"

Dave got minus ones which brought him back a notch.

Moved quite frequently because of the huge smelt everywhere, but we kept picking up bass and bones on our return to the ramp.

Bones were exploding at times!

Ended up with 40+ fish for the morning and we were happy.  Need to make a big splash this weekend, but not too bad of a start.  8)
