Happy New Years everyone.  I hope everyone has a safe and fun New Years.

I for one can't wait to cut the chord on 2016 and rock in 2017.  Well, all in all, the Surf Shark fishing was pretty good, but pretty much was nullified with other things going on in my life.

In any case, see you in 2017!!!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Agreed! Hope 17 runs better. Need to fix the boat ... LOL

Happy New Year - be safe y'all.

Happy New Years!  I can't complain about the fishing in 2016, definitely one of my best years ever, but happy to have all the non-fishing stuff in the past.  Looking forward to an exciting 2017.  I've kept my calendar relatively free so I can focus on job stuff, but I did say yes to a research trip to central Mexico in Feb.  It's going to be all tiny fish (mostly livebearers), but essentially all of them will be "pioneer" catches for the species fishing community.  It's always fun to make the claim that you are likely the first person to catch a species on hook & line.  :D
