Chilly Back Bay (2-23-17)

Hit the bay with the twins for a little back bay action. Lines in the water by 4pm. Squish was bait. Started off slow with a round ray making a showing on one of the boy's critter rods tipped with squish strips. The long rod did produce a soupfake shark, a 25" bat, and a bay scallop on the 9/0 hook.





If I was able to stay longer, I feel I would have had a good shot at the bigger ones, but my kids were done with the cold and the waiting. The fire was a huge plus!!!



Good seeing you and the family Tim! We toughed it out until 7:30pm and that was all the boys could handle.
