Took a trip on the Native Sun yesterday, got this email this morning...............frick'n thief:


Missing a Calstar 900m black on black custom rod. with the name David Young Lee on the rod. Rod had a saltiga 15 on it as well.  This was our galley cooks rod. He is offering a reward for it. plz Notify the landing at

Such crap.  One of the many other reasons of why I don't go on cattle boats.  Some mother f@cker cut off and stole my big squid jigs the last time I went on one of the Humboldt squid trips.  Always have to keep your head on a swivel on the open party trips.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Feel bad for the cook.

That's a nice set up and I'm sure it has sentimental value as well.
